I have just completed my commission to paint a mural at the Priory Arms in Stockwell. I took inspiration from art deco and Belgium design taking consideration of the Belgium produce the pub specialises in (Delerium!). Quite a pressure painting on some one else’s walls but I can relax now! Very narrow corridor so terrible pictures!

Open Doors - Sold!

Thank you to Open Doors for a great exhibition with the result of my pieces being sold. Looking forward to the next Borough!

With the brief of the exhibition themed around Shepherds Bush I based the work around Lime grove Studios. The studio housed filming and broadcasting for the BBC including shows such as Top of the Pops, Dr Who, Steptoe &Son and Sooty.

I created two collages, combining the different elements of research surrounding my subject matter. The set of two consist of found papers, photo montage, water based crayon and ink.

Space Exhibition

My submission for the Space exhibition at the Cardiff design festival http://spaceexhibition.co.uk/

Following the brief I have created a collage based on the theme of space. Included within the work are four postage stamps dedicated to HG Wells – famous for his science fiction novels - each contains individual artworks and various book titles. Using pencil, paint and pen I have simply created my artwork by working around a space letting the found medium determine the overall piece.

STYX Projects

I volunteer for the STYX Project based in London and Berlin. STYX Projects distinguished itself by refusing to focus on a particular "scene" or style of art. The gallery's idiosyncratic exhibition program - which includes not only visual art, but also live music, performances, and readings. In August 2010 STYX Projects opend it's second branch, situated in a similarly nontraditional environment, a former Victorian police station in New Cross, London. In December I assisted the installation of Rory Buckley. The Police station was absolutely terrifying at night! but also very cool.
